Textbook Update
Your textbook ends its discussion of the Middle East in the early 2000’s. Unsurprisingly much has happened in the Middle East in recent years that your textbook does not cover. For this assignment you and your group are going to update the textbook to cover these recent events. You will be assigned a current event in the Middle East and must create a textbook page detailing the events and their consequences. You and your groups must complete the following requirements:

- Research the details (events, people, movements, ideas, etc.) of your assigned event.
- Organize and layout a textbook entry to match the style and format of your World History book.
- Provide a concluding paragraph that explains the consequences or possible consequences of your event for the future of the Middle East.
- Spelling and grammar count
- Include at least 1 relevant picture (picture, map, statistics - provide caption)
- While there is no length requirement for the assignment, you must explain the event with sufficient depth and breadth.
- Provide citation for your research. (Website, name of article, author)
- Plagiarism will result in a zero for your entire group.
